The significant environmental impacts of intensive winter grazing have seen the industry and regulatory bodies work collaboratively to develop resources for farmers.

Be sure to also check the regulatory requirements of your regional council, particularly regarding any land capability zoning. These regulations may restrict where winter crops can be planted – slope is a key consideration in some areas.
